Microsoft Nominates Conamex International
for two IMPACT 2004 Awards
Microsoft IMPACT Awards honors Microsoft Canada Co.'s
top resellers and solution providers.
Montreal October 28 ,2004- Conamex International, a Microsoft
Centric firm,
that provides strategic consulting, deployment and managing of technology
services, announced
that it has been tapped for not one, but two nominations by
Microsoft as a top 3 finalist, for it's innovative solutions
and service, in the following IMPACT 2004 categories: Customer
Experience Award & Networking Infrastructure Solution
of the Year
"We're
delighted with this stamp of approval. Being in the top 3 is an
award in itself" said Elisabeth Vanderveldt, V.P. Marketing. "This
is twice that our firm has been recognized by a world leader in
software technology for our product and customer excellence." Conamex
also won Computer Associates, ACCPAC Development Partner of the
Year Award, in 1995. 4 years later they purchased Conamex's entire
Electronic Funds Transfer and Efile product line. Both of the nominated
submissions were performed under the direction of Mr. Robert L'Esperance,
CIO and founder of Conamex. Mr. L'Esperance was also the lead developer
for the winning EFT and Efile series.
The
nominated solutions included a biomarker study program written in
VBA, for use in the biopharmaceutical industry. It provided a step
by step process for lab technicians that also produced quantitative
analysis, reports, mappings and highlighted specific data that needed
attention from lab technicians. This new system created an unexpected
and immense improvement in efficiencies, centralized data storage,
retrieval and processing. The second nomination impacted a client's
network infrastructure solution that virtually eliminated down time
of systems using a myriad of Microsoft's server and exchange products
and features, configured to support, among many things, a digital
security system and remote network monitoring on a 24/7 basis. The
client reduced, by up to 80%, the regular maintenance operations
previously required to manually update stations.
About
the Microsoft for Partners IMPACT Awards
The 2004 Impact Awards recognizes excellence in Microsoft
Canada's diverse and powerful partner community. Microsoft had an overwhelming number of responses to
this year's awards competition-over 300 entries were received. Microsoft
will be honouring all the finalists and announcing the winners at
the gala awards dinner on Tuesday November 9th at the Liberty Grand
in Toronto. It will truly be a celebration of the passion and achievement
their partners continually strive for. For added recognition this
year, Microsoft announced that there will be national media exposure
of the event. Awards submissions outlined the successful implementation
of a Microsoft product or solution at a customer site, the successful
use of Microsoft technology in a development capacity, or the organization's
community involvement.
